3 of my favorite students graduated today, i will never see them again. makes me kind of sad. one nervously shook my hand, possible his first hand shake ever.

today i was in a fitting room and saw this sign. do note that i am in japan, and the english text is first. also know that it is common for english to come first on much print. bus routes, store names, various packaged products........ and finally note what a high standard of costumer service this is compared to other countries.....you know which one im talking about!

today im listening to a live arcade fire show from New York's Judson Memorial Church. its really great. they play the opening track WAKE UP from with in the audience, such a nice way to connect to your fans. listen to the whole show HERE

i just read a letter to the editor from an american news paper and was saddened by the selfish ignorance of this women. it hurts to know that her misinterpreted ideals represent a portion of american views and values.

today i finished a gorgeous book by james salter. he really pins down pain, joy, freedom, love and adventure.

today i rode my bike to work. round trip about 15 miles. it was a great day to be on a bike. it was one of the first real japanese spring days. cool in the shade, warm in the sun.

had an amzing chai today after lunch. did some reading. took a nice walk.

it was not raining today, for the first time is about a week. i went for a bike ride, and cleaned my apartment, and did laundry.

didnt do much today. listened to the my brightest diamond remix album "tear it down" twice, back to back. went out with my friend kana

Today I bought a new series 13 bearbrick. It’s the most common, but highly "Koons". He rode the bus to work with me.

Today I went out with my friend Tomo. I have not seen him in a few months. He noticed that I lost weight. That made me sad.
we saw some heads in a bag.

Today I made a chair from the wire and cap on a bottle of moet champagne.

Today is rainy, I don’t like rainy days. It makes my feet wet. I want to stay inside.

Today is my friends 23rd birthday. We went to a giant arcade. Then dinner. I gave her a sponge bob Pez dispenser.

today i received my new digital camera in the mail. i look forward to taking nice photos. i shall share them, in this very space.

kind of worked all day. its been a year of working saturdays, and i still dont like it.

today i went to a lantern festival in an old town north of kumamoto. spent the afternoon on the banks of a beautiful river.
